Report a road traffic incident

Ensure yourself and the third party are ok.
Call the Police and Ambulance where necessary.
Take photos of the accident, your vehicle and the third party including the surrounding area.
Never admit liability, the fleet department and the solicitors will handle the case.
Note how many people are in the 3rd party vehicle.
If there are witnesses, take their details.
Always be the last to leave the scene. This ensures that the third party can’t make up a fake witness.
Notify your controller and the workshop about the incident.
You will be asked to attend the workshop within 24 hours to complete the full incident report form.
